New Year New Inspiration

Well I think that everyone can join me and welcoming 2021 with open arms!

I for one am feeling rested after the holidays and am making (and hoping to keep) resolutions. One of my resolutions is to find inspiration everyday. There are so many creative people out there and I haven’t explored nearly enough.

Today I took a deep dive into Pinterest and found a bunch of dresses made out of everyday objects.  As you may know from my Quarantine Crafts videos, I LOVE making things out found objects. I love prom dresses made of out duct tape and when I watch Project Runway the Unconventional Materials Challenges are always my favorite.

This type of art is super inspiring to me because the artists have to think in a way that is different from the norm. These artists have to see a Q-Tip (for example) and envision a unique dress - IT’S AMAZING!

My inspiration for to day is: Find any object and think creatively about how to make it more beautiful.
